FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS VINTAGE
Pelican Hotel is a historical Art Deco building constructed in 1939 and as a matter of fact a love story between the Art Deco building and cutting edge designer Renzo Rosso founder of Diesel Jeans. It was purchased by Rosso one month after seeing it! Why does it work? because; it uniquely and wonderfully brings to life the Diesel philosophy. The quirky, surreal, state-of-the-art sense of humor of the hugely successful Italian clothing conglomerate comes through in every pore of the Pelican.

Magnus Ehrland designed the Pelican Hotel and was said that he spent every weekend for just over seven months, scouring garage sales, flea markets and antique stores all over the state of Florida. He wouldn’t rest until he had the right assortment of one-of-a-kind furnishings. Mr. Ehrland’s kitschy props help make the perfect Pelican statement.
